This is a pretty pictoresque, clean and well decorated place. It's also extremely noisy - I had to constantly yell to talk with... the person sitting right next to me. The service isn't really good, we had a huge challenge trying to call waiters to place ourorders. We arrived at 1pm and they took a whole hour to bring the dishes after the order was placed. At the end we even askedfor the bill before finishing our dishes since we didn't know how long it would take for us to see someone again. Overall I hada really not satisfying experience at this restaurant. And yet I'm still giving it a five star rating simply because this wasdefinitely the best, most delicious Mexican food I had in a really long time. Their dishes have lots of ingredients and you arenot allowed to make substitutions, but you can still omit some things if you prefer. I ordered the "Playa Burrito" with their"Beef short-rib", no pico de galo and less rice. My plate was pretty well served and extremely tasty! The ingredients were freshand they didn't hold back on the amount of protein. They gave me a hearty portion of meat. I do recommend this place and I evenhave the intention of returning and ordering the same plate. But the restaurant as a place has a lot to improve to provide amore pleasant experience to their customers. I myself am considering takeout for future visits. Read more
Super yum tacos, great cocktails, amazing service (Nevada was so awesome, friendly and attentive) and good atmosphere. Busy... place with a great vibe. We asked to move tables and were quickly obliged as an example of good service. We got tacos andcocktails. All were great, but to me, the octopus taco is the best. I had the hibiscus cocktail which was also delicious andwell presented. Service was quick and friendly and our server was genuinely touched when I told her we had a great time. Greatfood! My family and I have been a couple times now and it?s always been a wonderful experience. The food was perfect, arrived quick... and was delicious. They also have great drinks. The place gets quite busy and has a nice energy about it. Most of all the staffis amazing. Our server Aaron (who we?ve had a couple times) is exceptional and very kind.
